My son was passing a backlog of slow drivers who were in the left lane and was clocked going 156 in a 110 zone. He was charged with stunt driving and all the penalties that come with it. On the 400-series highway Northbound, I accelerated to pass a truck downhill in my classic sports car. When I went to brake, you can imagine my surprise as my brake line burst and I had no brakes whatsoever! Just as I managed to start slowing the car down via downshifting and gentle application of the emergency brake, I passed an OPP and was cited for stunt driving. I subsequently had my car towed and my license suspended.
