  • Now, in those videos, I do not mention what is probably the most important factor to consider when choosing a DUI lawyer.
  • And that one key factor is fit.
  • Is there a good fit between you and the Impaired Driving lawyer you want to hire?
  • When you’re facing an over 80 charge, an impaired driving charge, a drunk driving charge, or a refusal of breathalyzer charge, the outcome of your case can be life-changing.
  • And yes, it’s a given that you will choose a lawyer who has experience with DUI cases.
  • A lawyer that knows the DUI laws in great detail.
  • And that has experience and relationships in the DUI court which is handling your impaired driving case.
  • However, what is critical is to choose a DUI lawyer that you are comfortable working with.
  • You want to choose an impaired driving lawyer that communicates well with you.
  • That does not judge you.
  • That treats you with respect.
  • That treats you fairly. Professionally.
  • That returns your calls.
  • And it’s just not the lawyer.
  • It’s their staff too because there likely will be multiple people working on your case.
  • So, bottom line.
  • Before you retain a DUI lawyer, make sure that there is a great fit.
  • If there isn’t a great fit, then move on and find a DUI lawyer that you are comfortable with.
